NovusNews was designed and created in June, 2001 by Michael Helliker.
It was developed to address the lack of functionality, stability, speed, and
robustness in other similar products on the market. NovusNews aims to be the quickest,
most feature-rich, reliable and, above all else, convenient program for end-users.
NovusNews was written using Borland Delphi 5; the bulk of its code was written and
debugged in a period of about two months. The first public beta version of NovusNews
was released in January, 2002, and is presently undergoing a rigourous beta testing
period.
